Today I tried the Chocolate Wave from Red Lobster. If you really like chocolate you would love this, its a huge slice of warm dark chocolate cake, layered with a thick chocolate icing, and then coated with mini chocolate chips. Served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and topped off with a hot fudge sauce drizzled allover. The taste was rich and the combination of the warm cake and cold ice cream blended perfectly. Red Lobster priced this item at $5.99 which I thought was very reasonable for the portion size, it could easily feed 2-3 people. The atmosphere of the restaurant was great and the presentation of the plate was ok the chocolate sauce could have been more evenly drizzled over the plate. Nutrition Facts

I was fortunate enough to get to partake in this one and agree that the combination of the warm cake and cold ice cream is what made this desert. The added chocolate chips gave it a crunchy feature that also added to the overall effect. Great desert, great price for a family of four to share.
